On Saturday morning, November 15, you will have the opportunity to express your passion and faith at an Outreach and Evangelism event led by Robert and Crystal Saenz. Robert and Crystal have many years of experience setting up tables at public events, parades, and even at courthouses, inviting people to receive prayer. Over the years, many people have received salvation, healing, and deliverance. This event will take place on the morning of November 15 as part of the Walk for Mental Health Awareness in Palm Desert Civic Park. There will be a one hour informational/training meeting after church on Sunday, November 2 in the Multipurpose Room. If you are interested in participating in this event, sign up at the information table, come to the meeting, and introduce yourselves to Robert and Crystal.
The Marriage Ministry of JPL Church invites all married couples to join our potluck on Sunday, November 16 after the morning worship service. Bring a dish to share and enjoy good food, fellowship and a chance to connect with other couples. This event will be held in the JPL Church Multipurpose room.
The Women’s Ministry of JPL Church invites ladies of all ages to gather on Friday, November 21 for an evening of fellowship, worship, and thanksgiving for our wonderful Savior and for one another. Feel free to bring some fruit or a dessert to share if you like. Doors open at 6:00 PM for fellowship with the program beginning at 6:30 PM. Sign up at the information table after church. This event will be in the JPL Church Multipurpose Room
Ladies, we are looking for women who would like to be a part of the program portion during our Women’s Christmas dinner. Just as the little drummer boy in the song offered up his gift of playing the drum before the baby Jesus, we want to offer our gifts and talents before the Lord. We are looking for dancers, singers, short drama/monologue, poetry, anything creative. If you or you know someone who might be interested, please stop by the information table and talk to Melissa. Also be thinking about if you’d like to be a table hostess and decorate a table. Tickets will go on sale November 16th.
Please join us in the JPL Courtyard and on the front lawn as we light up our 30-foot Christmas Tree. There will be snacks, fire pits for s’mores, hot beverages, a photo booth, crafts and Christmas caroling. Please consider bringing goodies to share. This will be a great opportunity to introduce an unchurched friend to JPL.
